Vega S.p.A. is pleased to announce the release of the new Vega Oval tire.
The new Vega Oval tire has been designed specifically for the dirt and asphalt oval market in the United States. The construction and compound of this tire has been developed with the input and testing of leading US oval racers. This new generation of oval kart tire was made by Vega using the highest technology equipment and processes in the world. The result of this process is an oval kart tire that fulfills the needs of today’s oval kart racers.
- Performance: The new Vega Oval tire, straight out of the wrapper, has tested to be as fast as or faster than the current spec tire that has been cut and prepped.
- Excellent wear: The special natural rubber formula has increased tire life over the current spec tire.
- Resistant to heat cycles: Testing has proven that there is little or no decrease in performance after several heat cycles. This allows the karter to use the same tires over several weekends without a decrease in performance.
- No need for tire cutting: After extensive testing, the tire is manufactured with the correct thickness of rubber for maximum performance without cutting.
- No need for tire prep: The latest technology rubber formula provides race winning performance without the addition of tire preps. Testing shows that the addition of prep does not enhance performance.
