For those that don't
know, Infiniti Pro Series Driver, Travis Gregg, is not only a
professional race car driver, but a serious Karter. Travis is
also the spokesperson for the J1 Speed Series since the
beginning in 2004. He, like all the others, dreamed of someday
racing professionally and especially racing at Indy. Now that
Travis is living his childhood dream, he has taken time to give
back to his future competition,,,,,, the Junior Karters!
For the Jacksonville
GP June 24-26th, Travis is sending a personally autographed
picture for each of the participants supporting J1 Speed
Series. Travis said he would get as many as needed and sign
each one this weekend while he races at the US Grand Prix in
Indy. That is just about as cool as it gets for him to take the
time at the track in Indy! Team Owner, Sam Schmidt and General
Manager Michael Crawford are sending down a few things as well
for the kids. Collectively, Sam Schmidt Motorsports recognizes
the importance of supporting the kids for their hard work and
dedication. Both hard work and dedication is exactly what
earned them the right to have the success their team is
experiencing today!
