J1 Speed Series makes it's first ever appearance in the state of Florida. Hosted by North Florida Kart Club, J1 Speed Series brings its driver development and racing program to help continue building and developing both drivers and teams participation in this great sport of KARTING.
"When we bring the J1SS program to a region and it's clubs, we come not to build and promote our program, quite the opposite, we bring the program in to supplement the local clubs, kart shops, and their supporters. Our goal is to help our sport as a whole and get new people started" says Anthony Levy Founder of the program. This program offers an opportunity to bring multiple organizations together for a low key non-stressed training/racing experience just for the kids. "Don't be fooled!" adds Levy, "We will wear your kids out with track time and instruction,,,, we are an action/work series." Co-Founder Chuck Maranto adds, "Drivers can expect to get between 500-700 laps during the 3 days. Where else can one capitalized on such track time in a race setting? No more sitting around 12 hours for 30 laps of track time" You get better on the track, not in the pits! Intentions are not to discredit other series, J1SS intentionally dropped all but 1 adult class specifically to better develop drivers by giving them the extra time and attention traditionally given to the adult racers.

We welcome all Junior and Teams from Florida and surrounding states. You will not be disappointed. Participants should bring a lot of fuel,,,, you're going to need it!
