Karting Organizations
This is a list of the National and International organizations
that regulate karting. There are also hundreds of small tracks around the
country that do not require membership in a National organization. The
benefits of membership are a monthly magazine, standardized insurance and rules
at sanctioned tracks.
World Karting Association

WKA is the largest organization in the United States. They sanction oval,
sprint and enduro competition.
International Kart Federation

IKF is the original sanctioning body for karting. They are based on the
West Coast and run oval, sprint and enduro races.

SKUSA was formed in 1993 to create an organization specifically for the class of
racing karts known as "shifter karts".
